The M1300 is a revised M1070A1 for use in Europe by the U.S. Army The need for the M1300 formally emerged after the U.S. Army Europe (USAREUR) issued an Operational Needs Statement (ONS) for the M1300-provided transport capability, which was validated by Army Headquarters in April 2017.
